Grand Island Sunset 10K Beaver Island State Park, Grand Island, NY 14072 Friday, September 30 @ 5:30pm 

 REGISTRATION FEE OF  $35 WITH NO ADDITIONAL TRANSACTION FEE.

The race begins and ends in Beaver Island State Park, Grand Island, NY (between Buffalo and Niagara Falls). The course is a flat, out and back, along the scenic Niagara river.  

Your race entry will help support Friends of Night People at 394 Hudson Street in Buffalo.  For over 50 years the Friends of Night People has provided meals for the poor and homeless. They serve meals at 5 locations in the Buffalo area. In addition to meals, Friends of Night People offers clothing, hygienic supplies, and referral service to clients in need of housing.  We will also collect non-perishable food items on race day to be donated to the Friends of Night People food pantry.  For information on Friends of Night People, visit their website by clicking here.

Race awards to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female winners and 19 and under Male/Female winners. Age group awards to first 3 finishers in 5-year age groups up to 80+ years old.

Runners who break the event record for their respective division (19 and under, open and masters divisions) will receive 100% of their entry fee refunded after the race!!  (Early fee of $25 will be refunded)

Most Active Buffalo-Area runners receive 100% entry fee refund!

The top 3 Most Active Road Racers by Race Miles and the top 3 Most Active Road Racers by Number of Races  as listed on BuffaloRunners will receive their entry refunded after finishing the race. (Early registration fee applies). Race results posted on BuffaloRunners prior to the September 30 Sunset 10k will determine the winners.

On Sept 30, the sun will set at 7PM. Race entrants should be able to finish the 6.2 miles within 90 minutes. Awards will be presented at 7PM.
