Greater Williamsburg Distance Running Club Meet and Greet - Kick Off 1 and 2 mile race!

When: Saturday, March 11th, 2023

10:00 am 3k race

Where: Jamestown High School  Track and Green Spring Trails

Why: Sign up for a 3k Kick Off XC Race

Sign up for GWDRC and the race fee is included in the registration! 

Race: $10.00

Location: Start Jamestown High School Track: 3751 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg, VA 23185

Registration table open (Pick up starting at 9:00 am

Course:

The course starts on the track goes onto Green Spring Trail and then comes back and finishes on the track.

Timing: We will hand time and I will send out the results on Sunday afternoon via email.  
             
Water: We will have extra water bottles for anyone that needs one but please bring one.

Bathrooms:  There are two porta Johns - One by Green Spring Trail and 1 in the parking lot by the baseball field. 

Meet and Greet: Athletes and parents can talk to coaches after the races! 

Fundraiser for the Following.  Please consider contributing a donation to our programs.  

Greater Williamsburg Distance Running Club is expanding its Fall programs to 5 days a week. 

Small projects we have worked on in the past 6 years. 

We have built a running course at James River Elementary school. 

Held class races for James River Elementary School.

Hosted low-cost and free running events for youth runners.

Offer low-cost and scholarship memberships to GWDRC. 

Purchase race equipment to host low-cost races in the Williamsburg Area.
