GRRR 50K & Relay

This is a Columbus Westside Running Club MEMBERS-ONLY event.  IT Done has generously sponsored 40 Headsweats hats.  PLEASE select the No Hat option if you will not wear it.  <3

How it Works (READ CAREFULLY!): 

You must register for the CWRC Newsletter before Friday, August 6th at 11:59 PM to get your free entry code. Codes will go out on Sunday, August 8th.
This event costs $10,000.00 without a code. (This is how we are keeping it members-only)

This is an UNTIMED FUN RUN. Participants must sign a waiver to participate, obey all rules of the road and trail, yield to traffic, and notify the organizers when exiting the course. The course is approximately 95% asphalt bike path on the Camp Chase and Roberts Pass Trails.

DURING SIGNUP, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM OR CREATE A NEW ONE.

The first member of a team will automatically be the team captain. This can be changed/reassigned later.

ALL RELAY TEAMS must have an extra member or emergency contact for logistics/rescue. We will NOT provide any logistical support other than stocking the coolers.

ULTRAMARATHONERS:  Participants taking on the entire 50K solo must coordinate an emergency contact for logistics/rescue. Again, we will NOT provide any logistical support other than stocking the coolers.

CAPTAINS:  Please lock your team with a group password when your team is complete.

TEAM CAPTAINS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR TEAM'S LOGISTICS.  ALL TEAM CAPTAINS MUST CHECK IN WITH THE CARL VOELLMECKE WHEN THEIR TEAM COMPLETES THE EVENT.

THE RELAY HAS 3 LEGS:
Leg 1: 8.3mi -- Wilson Road Park* to Battelle Darby**
Leg 2: 15.3mi -- Battelle Darby** to Glade Run*** and Back
Leg 3: 8.3mi -- Battelle Darby** to Wilson Road Park*

Participants can complete 1, 2, or all 3 legs of the race, and these legs are just a suggestion due to parking convenience.  There is no baton or scoring, so each team can complete the event any way they see fit as long as the team combines to 50K (31 miles). 

Coolers containing Water, Gatorade, and Snacks will be provided every 3.4-4.5 miles.  If you are a thirsty runner, please consider bringing your own supplies.
