Hachie 50 Marathon, Ultra and Relay

The Waxahachie Running Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that promotes running and walking in Ellis County, which is south of Dallas, TX. We are a friendly, family-oriented group that welcomes all levels; from beginners in our 5k training program up to competitive marathoners, ultra-marathoners and trail-runners. Our goal is to bring runners and walkers together encouraging safe, friendly fun-runs. Started in June of 2011 we have grown to over 1600 members and host group runs or training almost every day of the week.

On May 5th, 2018, we are joining with the Waxahachie Lion's Club to host this race. This year's event will benefit the Waxahachie Lion's Club, which supports local children and schools in Ellis County.

The race is held in Waxahachie's Getzendaner city park that is mostly closed to traffic. Course is 90% on concrete sidewalks, 10% dirt/gravel. This is a beautiful, FAST, FLAT & Tree-lined out-n-back course!

We will have custom, dry-fit t-shirts for participants; unique wooden medals; free online race photos; and lots of food and drinks during and after the event. Awards will be given to Men's and Women's 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall and Masters in each non-team event.

Plus a Kids 1 mile Fun Run/Walk

The race is held in a city park that is mostly closed to traffic.
