Hanover Education Foundation's Run for Health 5K

DATE: Saturday June 3, 2017 RAIN OR SHINE! ALL AGES WELCOME! Join with your friends, family or groups!

TIME: Check in starts at 7:00 am for pre-registrants. 8:30am is the official 5K race start time.

PLACE: Race begins at Whippany Park High School. Address is 165 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. Parking is available in the parking lots at Whippany Park High School and Our Lady of Mercy Church. Restrooms will be available. Refreshments and music will be provided before and after the race.

5K COURSE: The 5K Run for Health is a sanctioned USATF course (3.1 miles) through the neighboring areas. There will be water stations and timers along the route.

5K FEE: $25.00 single adult or $15.00 child pre-registration fee. (non-refundable) Register online no later than May 30th for the pre-registration rate. On race day, the fee will be $30.00 single and $20.00 child and you will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. Same day registration closes at 7:45 a.m.... REGISTER EARLY!

ONE-MILE FUN-WALK: New for 2017! A One-Mile Fun-Walk has been added to the mix of activities.  Walkers will begin at the entrance to the Whippany Park football field and end at the 5K Race finish line. The Fun-Walk will begin at 8:15 AM.

ONE-MILE FUN-WALK FEE: $20.00 single adult or $10.00 child pre-registration fee. Same Day registration for the Fun-Walk will remain the same - $20.00 single adult or $10.00 child

PICK-UP: Pre Race Packet Pick up can be made Friday Evening June 2, 2017, from 6PM-8PM at Whippany Chiropractic at 133 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981

DINNER FOR TWO! New for 2017! All pre-registered runners/walkers will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of two gift certificates good for “Dinner for Two” at a local restaurant

AWARDS: Trophies for the Top three M/F overall; Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to the top three M/F finishers in 17 age categories: 10 and under, and 5-year age groups: 10 thru 85+
