Course
Start at Irwin Academic Center on Irwin Avenue, (just north of 6th Street);
Turn left on 5th Street;
Turn right on Graham Street;
Turn right on Mint Street;
Turn left on Morehead Street;
Turn right on Kings Drive;
Turn tight into parking lot finish line.

Parking
HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K staff will direct you to parking based on the availability of spaces in lots surrounding Irwin Academic Center (please look for directional "Parking" signage on race day).

Event Overview
It is with great privilege that the HEARTest Yard Program and Showmars Restaurants join forces to host the first annual HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K. With a like-minded mission to support Levine Children’s Hospital, we’ve joined forces to maximize our impact and fundraising potential to meet the needs of and care for as many children affected by congenital heart diseases and disorders as possible. 100 percent of proceeds generated during this family-friendly event will benefit programs (HEARTest Yard Program/Program for Pediatric Hearts) at Levine Children’s Hospital.

Kicking off at Irwin Academic Center in uptown Charlotte, off of W 5th Street, join us Saturday, May 21 for our Kids Fun Run/5K and run or walk the scenic streets of the Queen City. Minutes after crossing the finish line at Levine Children’s Hospital, enjoy refreshments and fun including music, inflatables and more!

Because our post-race activities will take place at Levine Children’s Hospital, a free shuttle will be available to transport participants back to their vehicles at Irwin Academic Center.
