July 28, 2017 (Friday) - 05:00
100 miles
26,000 feet
Cut off: 36:00 hours

The High Lonesome 100 is a high flying loop course transecting the southern end of the expansive Sawatch range. Starting and ending at Monarch Mountain, the course takes runners along soaring ridges, through idyllic meadows, basins, and forests, across 7 alpine passes, into three ghost towns, and much more. Runners will be treated to 30 miles of the National Scenic Continental Divide Trail and 23 miles of the classic Colorado Trail. This course is wild, tough, and relentless, but we’ve got some of the best aid stations around. Each station is captained by a 100 mile veteran, so they know what runners need to succeed. We firmly believe that this is one of the best courses around, but don’t take our word for it…come run it yourself!

The number for participants for the race is capped to 75.
