About the event
Join Big Island Road Runners on Saturday June 8, 2024 starting at 7:00 am for the Holo Kahakai Fun Run.
We will mark out 3 distances- 5k, 10k and ½ marathon. This event starts at the ocean front Kahakai Park in Pahoa. You will run/walk through the dappled sunlight under the canopy of old growth mango and lauhala trees along scenic Old Govt Beach Rd! Those running the ½ marathon will run to then up Hwy 132 about 1 mile before tuning around and coming back the same way.
Meet at Kahakai Park in Pahoa – Run starts at 7:00 am sharp.
Aid Stations will be provided but bring your own hydration in case it is hot😊
Snacks at the end.
There will be sign up day of race between 6:30 to 6:50.
Free to BIRR members, $10 donation for non-members.
