About the event
Join us as we bring back a local favorite, the Home Run 5k! This 3.23 mile race is a fast way to show support for the Licking County Coalition for Housing, an organization built and operated to support people facing homelessness. This is our first time hosting on the Licking County Courthouse Square, and the FIRST 5k to happen in downtown Newark in about 10 years!

Prizes for the top 3 male and female runners, all participants will receive a Race T-shirt (while supplies last), and drink tickets for the 9th annual Food Truck Festival that we will be hosting later that day! Enjoy some exercise in the warm summer air, and then dive into the well-deserved flavors that a world of differing food trucks can offer.
