Indy Races

When the pediatric oncologist walked in, we knew she had news we weren't prepared to hear.
Our son, Indy, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilms tumor at 3 months. We felt we should do our part to raise money for childhood cancer research and for families affected by childhood cancer. This is why we created the Indy Races.

According to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, only 4% of the billions of dollars annually spent on cancer research and treatments are directed toward treating childhood cancer.

Our event will be in-person this year, with a virtual option. The Indy Races will take place at Lake Shawnee on the 16th of September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month).

Every dollar raised will go to support the Children's Miracle Network Stormont Vail Foundation, where Indy is the 2023 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Champion. 

There will be a 1-mile, 5K, 10K, or race around the lake (6.8 miles) option.
You can walk, run, or jog your selected distance.

If you do the virtual option, You can walk, run, jog, bike, or swim the following options ANYWHERE - inside, outside, at the gym, or even on a treadmill!
