Junebug Jog

The 32nd Annual Junebug Jog, hosted by William Newton Hospital and the Winfield Recreation Commission, will be here before you know it! We're so excited to be able to get back to an in-person event this year after hosting a virtual run last year. Join family, friends, and Junebug veterans of all ages to cover the scenic course that starts and ends near the main entrance of Winfield High School. 

Schedule of Events

7:30 am - 1-Mile Run/Walk
8:00 am - 5K Run/Walk
9:00 am - Jr. Junebug 100-Meter Dash (Ages 8 & Under)

Pricing & Race Perks

The FIRST 150 participants to register for the 5K or 1-Mile will receive a t-shirt. Cost is $15 (+online registration fee) until June 10; $20 day-of! Sign up for both the 1-Mile Run and 5K for just $25 (you save $10).

Following the Junebug Jog will be the Jr. Junebug for ages 8 and under. For a $2 entry fee (+online registration fee), our miniature Junebugs will leave the event with race bibs, a medal and a bag of goodies. For a $10 entry fee (+online registration fee), they will also receive a t-shirt along with the other items.

Snacks and refreshments will be available afterwards. Door prize drawings for all 5k and 1-mile participants will occur at the conclusion of the race events.

Awards

The 5k and 1-mile races will be digitally timed by TimerGuys. Awards will be given in the following categories:
Overall: Male/Female
Age groups: Top 2 Male/Female for 10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+

COVID-19 Precautions

Your health & safety is our top priority. We are in touch with our county health officer and will comply with all COVID-19 precautions, including social distancing, mask wearing, hand-washing, and other safety measures as necessary.
