Additional Info  On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused in the United States. In 2003, Kathy Simmons was one of those people, ending in her death. Join WIRC-CAA Victim Services to #RememberKathy, raise awareness, and show support of victims/survivors of domestic violence. *** The course begins at Citizen's Bank Plaza on the corner of Randolph and Washington streets in Macomb. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the Walk/Run/Roll beginning at 8:00 am. All age groups are welcome, with ribbons being awarded to top overall male and female runners. Walkers or participants in wheelchairs and other non-competitive individuals are encouraged to sign up to support the event.   Participants who pre-register by April 19 can sign up for $30 and will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Those who choose to register after that date can participate for $35, and a t-shirt can be purchased separately. In-person registrations will also be accepted on the day of the race for $35 (t-shirt not included). Registration fees can be paid online by credit card at the link listed below, by cash, or by check.

WIRC-CAA Victim Services, based in Macomb, provides free and confidential services in a safe environment with knowledgeable staff members who are ready to provide emergency services, advocacy, counseling, professional training, and public education.
