About the event

Now in its 32nd year, the Kalamazoo Scenic Bicycle Tour (KalTour) is the Kalamazoo Bicycle Club’s annual cycling event designed for bicyclists of many ages and abilities. Distances range from 15 to 62 miles.

We are excited about our new start location this year at the Wind + James Event Center in Schoolcraft located at 555 E. Eliza Street.  This location gives us indoor bathrooms, running water, a kitchen, and indoor space for registration and meals if the weather is inclement.

Route Information: All routes start and finish at Wind + James Event Center and travel on the beautiful roads in Kalamazoo County offering easy access to low-traffic, flat, country roads.  See map below for directions to the start.

Routes are available through the Ride With GPS website at this link:  KalTour 2024Routes will have pavement markings.Paper maps will be available at check in.

Route Distances and Start Times: It's more fun to ride with a group! To maximize opportunities to ride and socialize with other cyclists, and to facilitate similar finishes times for all riders, we are introducing mass start times based on distance.

62 miles (100 K or metric century) - Mass start at 8:30 a.m.50 miles - Mass start at 9:00 a.m.31 miles (50 K) - Mass start at 9:30 a.m.15 miles - Mass start at 10:00 a.m.
