A journey of 50 miles and 4000m of ascent on foot from Caldbeck, the highest point of the Lake District, to the bottom at Cartmel, taking in the breathtaking Helvellyn Ridge and the western shoreline of Lake Windermere. Though not the simplest trek, it will certainly be the most spectacular!
