Larus Four

Join us for the inaugural Richmond Road Runners Club's Larus Four! This run/walk will be held in-person in Larus Park and will start and end at Stony Point Fashion Park. There is also a virtual option available.

The trails are beginner-friendly. Children age 6 and older and youth are welcome to run this event.'

Larus Park is one of Richmond's best kept secrets. You will enjoy your time here and want to come back for more! We will begin in a parking lot at Stony Point Mall then head up, yes up, for a brief time to a paved easement behind the condominiums. Course marshals will guide you to the park entrance and from there you'll head down to an intersection. Weaving and winding throughout the park, you will marvel at how small yet big this park truly is. It feels like you're in the mountains.

This park is not flat. There are real hills in this park. Don't let them stop you from enjoying this city treasure. The Parks crew has been working hard to mark the trails and put up trail maps to help you navigate your way around. Have no fear, on race day there will be plenty of course markings via survey tape as well as course marshals. We will make it hard for you to get lost!
