Lausanne Marathon is an out and back run from Lausanne to Vevey.
You will start at Place de Milan in Lausanne and hit the road eastward toward Vevey. When you'll reach half course at La Tour de Peilz, you will run back to Lausanne to finish in front of the Olympic Museum fountain.

On your way you'll run though vineyards and visit villages along the coast.

Results 2016: Lausanne Marathon

Credit : rhurtubia Lausanne Marathon Youssef Sbaai outran roughly 1317 runners to win with a time of 02:17:06. He finished 3 minutes 38 seconds ahead of Fikru Dadi. Rounding out the top three was Samir Baala with a time of 02:28:44. In the ladies race, Alemitu Bekele-Clerc scored victory with a time of 02:42:41 . Laurence Yerly earned runner-up honors with a time of 02:51:45. Finishing third was Marija Vrajic (02:53:21). Top 5 Men Top 5 Women Complete results Lausanne 1/2 Marathon Qaasim Shumbii won the race with a time of 01:08:27. He bested Mekonen Tefera who crossed the finish line 6 seconds behind him. Rounding out the top three was Estefanus Hailmichael with a time of 01:08:53. For the women, Laura Hrebec took top spot in 01:16:27 . She finished 35 seconds ahead of Aude Salord. While Rachel Berchtold came in third at 01:23:16 Top 5 Men Top 5 Women Complete results Lausanne 10 km Bernard Mateka outpaced more then 5519 runners to win in 00:28:18, setting by the way the new course record. Sérgio Dias secured second in this year’s race with a time of 00:29:15. Finishing third was Oumoussa Zouhair (00:29:26). In the women’s race, Delia Sclabas took top honors by finishing the race in 00:34:16 . She finished 5 seconds ahead of Virginie Lemay. Rounding out the top three was Isabelle Butticaz with a time of 00:37:48.
