About the event

Back for a fifth year under the management of Race Day Events, Lazy Crazy is fast gaining popularity for its quirky Wednesday night time slot and beginner friendly "Lazy River" swim. An easy 300 yard swim down the lazy river at the Kingsport YMCA Aquatic Center, a rolling 5.5 mile bike ride, and a 5K "golf course" run make this the ultimate triathlon for beginners, or more experienced athletes looking for a tough midweek workout. Come join us for this unique event! Race logo shirts to all and DeFeet socks to the first 200 registered, along with age group and overall awards. The event will be a relaxed and fun focused, with all types of bikes welcome.

Swim - 300 meters, time trial start, athletes starting at 5 second intervals
Bike- 5.5 miles on rolling hills
Run--3 miles on the back 9 of the Cattails Golf Course

All events take place at the Kingsport Aquatic Center, 1820 Meadowview Pkwy

Packet pickup begins at 4pm on race afternoon, with pre race instructions at 6:15, & race starting at 6:30pm.

Day of race registration available for $65.   This is NOT a USAT sanctioned event.
