In 2022, we are planning our traditional in-person ride for Saturday, October 8th where hundreds of cyclists will ride up to 100 miles along the suburban streets, rural backroads, and rail trails of beautiful Northern Virginia. In addition, based on overwhelmingly positive reviews from riders of past Lime Connect Rides, we are bringing back the virtual ride where participants set their own mileage goal and strive to hit that goal over one big epic ride or over multiple rides during the monthlong period, from 9/8-10/8. And, we are also bringing back the 'Anything Goes' Virtual Challenge where participants set their own mileage goal and use any method of travel (run, walk, roll, row, etc.) to achieve that goal, over multiple efforts, from 9/8-10/8.
Anyone that signs up for the in-person ride will be automatically registered for the virtual ride (however, riding virtually is completely optional for in-person riders). Participating in-person and/or virtually is an awesome opportunity to ride more and to further rebrand disability through achievement. Each in-person and virtual rider will receive an official 2022 Ride T-shirt (mailed to virtual riders). In addition, in-person riders will receive a swag bag filled with gifts from our sponsors and entry to our live post-ride celebration including refreshments! Note: Those not able to attend the in-person ride can sign up for the virtual ride only.
