Information on LOST ( Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail )
The course is run around the entire lake and is, mostly, on the dike which is a mixture of dual track, macadam, and crushed stone surfaces. About 22 miles is on road to avoid the construction sites. There are 22 access points to the dike for crew to meet you. The race is always run as close to the full moon as possible and, if it is a clear night, you will not need a light up on the dike for much of it. Very scenic, both day and night, with a constant breeze to enjoy.
