Mindy Creek Trails Races

Both Half and Full will take start and finish at the Polk County Tourism in St. Croix Falls. Excellent trail event for racing, getting ready for fall races by using this as a supported trail run or a way to spend time in the woods with friends.

COVID-19

Some of the guidelines will be:
1. Mask to be worn till start of event.
2. Social distance while not running.
3. Respect of others and COVID-19 by not attending if sick or been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 in recent days before the event. 4. Tempature check in and COVID-19 waiver signed prior to start. 5. No group running. Honor social distance. 5. No Post race awards and gatherings.
More guidelines could come as the event becomes closer along with state and national information is passed down. For example race start could be staggered with a max amount of people in each stage. If COVID-19 conditions don’t improve and continue to increase, there’s a chance that the 2021 Mindy Creek Trail races in person trail races will have to be run virtually. If this happens, more details will be sent to all registered runners. All efforts will be made to wait as long as possible to make this decision.

10k

NEW for 2021 is a 10k option that will give runners plenty of diverse trail conditions just like the full or half marathon with paved trail, gravel, and single track. The course will be an out and back.
$30.00 till July 1st, 2021
$35.00 till August 14th, 2021
$40.00 on race day

Refunds

There will be no refunds.

If COVID-19 and /or other conditions force the event to be be shut down and /or conditions are not safe the event will be made to a virtual event. If this happens race shirt and race number will be sent out with in one week of the completion of the event.

Half Marathon

$40 till July 1st
$50 till Aug 14th
$60 Race day

Race starts at 7am

Course will be challenging with rugged single track trails and hills. The first half mile is uphill and on a paved bike trail path. After the uphill you will have a half mile flat on the Gandy Dancer trail which is a old rail road track converted into a gravel path. From there you will have plenty of single track trail with rocks, roots and hills. Aid station (water, Gatorade, cookies, etc.) at mile 5 and 7.

Marathon

Race starts at 7 am

Course will repeat the half marathon course twice.

Drop bag are allowed at the half marathon point. (start and finish area)

Aid station (water, Gatorade, cookies, etc.) at mile 5 and 7, 13, 18 and 20.
