Monsters at the Mall Race Weekend

The Monsters at the Mall Race Weekend partners with the Salvation Army to provide funding for the Coats for Kids Program. We will kick the weekend off with a new addition this year: The Eddie Morrison Mile!

Edna Morrison, or "Eddie", as we know her, loved to hear about our races. She always asked about everything going on with the Monsters at the Mall 5k and would even start the race for us for the first two years. She was one of the most beautiful and giving people that we’ve ever known, and she would do anything for anybody. This year, we’ll be adding a 1 mile race in her memory. The Eddie Morrison Mile will take place on Friday, October 27th at Memorial Park in St.Clairsville. Registration will begin at 4:30 pm at the large pavilion and the race will start at 6 pm. This race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and will include a post race awards ceremony and refreshments.

The Monsters at the Mall 5k run/walk will be hosted on Saturday, October 28th at the Ohio Valley Mall. The event will begin at 9 am, as participants dressed in their scariest and silliest costumes will start at the rear entrance of the mall with an exciting finish inside Boscov’s court! Chip timing will be provided by Miles of Smiles. The event features fun activities for all ages with post-race refreshments and award ceremony to follow. 

PACKET PICKUP:

Race Day registration for the Eddie Morrison Mile on Friday evening will begin at the large pavilion in Saint Clairsville Memorial Park at 4:30 pm. Race starts at 6 pm.

Race Day registration for the Monsters at the Mall 5k on Saturday morning will begin at the rear entrance of the mall at 7:30 am . Race starts at 9 am.
