About the event
The new Half Marathon course will combine country roads (2/3) and a wildnerness trail (1/3) though Howland Island's Wildlife Refuge Area in Savannah, NY. The race will start and finish at the beautiful Montezuma Aububon Center (MAC) on RT 89 in Savannah. A festival like atmosphere will greet all runners when they cross the finish line with good food/drinks as well as live entertainment. The new 5K course will take place on the trails behind the MAC that will challenge and excite the senses. Proceeds from the event will again benefit the Friends of Montezuma, a 501(c)-3 dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge.
