Nightmare In Elmwood 5k

Have a SPOOKTACULAR time at Elmwood Park Neighborhood's newest tradition,  the Nightmare In Elmwood 5K & Kids Fun Run!  Run or walk with us at this hauntingly fun community event on Saturday, October 28th and enjoy our scary course through the historic Elmwood Park neighborhood in downtown Columbia.   The race, managed by GRIT Endurance, LLC, will benefit the Historic Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.  Race proceeds will help provide improvements to this well known Columbia neighborhood.  Our race will showcase the historic Elmwood Park neighborhood dressed up in its best Halloween decor on a newly certified USA Track & Field course.   The Start/Finish Line will be located near Village Church Park Street located at 2204 Park Street in the historic Elmwood Park neighborhood.  Start Times: 5K - 10am Kids Fun Run - 11am  (Age12 and under)
Participants are encouraged to dress in their best and most creative Halloween Attire.  Prizes will be awarded for the top six  most creative outfits! Run safe and family event friendly costumes encouraged! All registered participants will receive a quality, soft blend racing shirt! It's sure to be one of your favorites.  Our Shirt Guarantee Deadline is September 28, 2023.   Those who register after this date are not guaranteed a shirt.  We are unable to hold shirts after packet pick up and race day.  You must pick up your shirt during packet pick up or on race day.  We are unable to ship shirts.   We appreciate your understanding!

 

This is a nonrefundable event! Race is rain or shine. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome!
