No Child Wet Behind

Join us for our 1st Annual No Child Wet Behind Fundraiser for the Mid-Michigan Diaper Bank.

There will be a chiped timed 5K Run/Walk and a 1 mile Kids/Family Fun Run & Stroller parade.

The event will be from 8:15-12:30 at Valhalla Park, in Holt. This is a great community event, with music and activities for children and families. Come out and enjoy time with your family while you support a great cause!

Bring a package of diapers the day of the race to be entered in a raffle for prizes!

About No Child Wet Behind

We proudly present No Child Wet Behind, a Diaper Drive and Fundraiser, along with a 5K and 1mile Family Fun Run to be held on Saturday May 21st, 2016 at Valhalla Park, in Holt Michigan.

The Lansing Doula (www.lansingdoula.com) is partnering with the Mid-Michigan Diaper Bank (www.midmichigandiaperbank.org/) to distribute diapers and donations collected throughout this campaign!

Why Diapers?

A healthy change of diapers costs $100 a month or more. Assistance programs such as WIC or Food Stamps do NOT help pay for diapers. Parents cannot place their children in childcare without a supply of diapers, which could lead to a loss of work and/or the inability to attend school. Families in crisis constantly struggle between purchasing food, paying for transportation and utilities and buying diapers.

No Child Wet Behind Events are being held in over 30 cities nationwide to make a difference to families in need.
