NXN Heartland Regional - Community Race

Want to race, but you’re not in high school?  Want to re-live your running glory days? Whatever your reason, whatever your level, we have a race for you. So come test your running skills at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, SD.

We will have both a “Competitive Race” and a “Non-Competitive Fun-Run” all-comers community race.  The “competitive race” is for anyone who can run under 30 minutes for a 5k. If you register for the “competitive” race, you must be able to complete the course in under 30 minutes or you may not be allowed to finish, as it is essential that we keep the following races on time.  The “Non-Competitive Fun-Run” is for anyone who runs 30 minutes or more for a 5k. Both community races are open to ALL AGES/ANYONE who is not able to register for the Nike races because you are not yet in high school, on a high school team, or because you are an adult.

Race day is Sunday, November 13th; race time is 1:05pm for the more competitive racers or 3:00pm for the Fun Run.  So come test your skills, and then watch the best teams and individuals in the region run for a chance to punch their tickets to the Nike Cross National meet in Portland, Oregon.  The high school championship races are at 1:45pm (girls) and 2:20pm (boys).
