OCPR Sprint Triathlon

The Oldham County Parks and Recreation USAT sanctioned Sprint Triathlon is held at Wendell Moore Park on the Saturday, August 28, 2021. 

This is a great race for every level of triathlete. We also offer a team division. 

Swimming leg, 400 meters, is a time start, every 15 seconds, in the aquatic center 25 meter pool.

Bike course, 10 miles, on the Oldham County roads (non closed) with police at the major intersections. Bike course is a hilly course.

Run leg, 3K, is on the park grounds includes an asphalt trail with a few grass sections.

All triathletes receive a finish metal at the finish line.

Awards ceremony follows the race with free Domino's pizza. Overall Female, Male and Team receive $300. Top two finishers in a variety of age groups will win awards. All triathlete finishers will be entered for a chance at one of 5 cash door prizes as well as other prizes during awards ceremony.

The race costs $50.00 per individual and $80.00 for three-person teams. Non-USAT members must add $15.00 per participant to cover one-day insurance.

Registration and on August 6th by 2:00 p.m. Maximum number of participates is 200 entries.
