Welcome to the Third Annual Olmsted Red2Blue Station Run benefitting The Brett J Wilson Fire Academy Scholarship Fund and the Olmsted Township/Falls Police Benevolent Fund!     SUNDAY, JULY 7, 2024 - 8:00AM 5k Run Start/8:05AM 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Start  START/FINISH LINE BEHIND OLMSTED TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT   ***TWO NEW UPDATES THIS YEAR!  1. T-SHIRTS ARE NOW INCLUDED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION!  IF YOU DO NOT WANT A SHIRT, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO OPT OUT AND SAVE $5.  THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE WHEN YOU SELECT YOUR T-SHIRT SIZE.  T-SHIRTS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE FREE 1 MILE WALK EVENT.  IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE 1 MILE WALK AND WANT A T-SHIRT, YOU MUST PURCHASE ONE!***

2.  WE STARTED OUR FIRST ANNUAL YOUTH SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP THIS YEAR.  THIS IS FOR KIDS AGES 13 AND UNDER.  THERE WILL BE TWO DIVISIONS.  THE BLUE DIVISION IS AGES 10 AND UNDER AND THE GOLD DIVISION IS AGES 11-13.  EACH OF OUR FIVE EVENTS WILL HAVE A 400M RACE THE KIDS WILL COMPETE IN.  KIDS WILL ACQUIRE POINTS EACH RACE (SAME POINT SYSTEM AS THE ADULT SERIES) AND THE TOP GIRL AND BOY IN EACH DIVISION WILL WIN A TROPHY AND GIFT CARD TO SECOND SOLE LAKEWOOD AT THE END OF THE SERIES!   

 

***RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP AND REGISTRATION WILL BE AT THE OLMSTED TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM 6:45AM-7:45AM.  PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GREENBROOKE PLAZA JUST PAST FAT LITTLE BUDDIES.  ***

 

EVENT DETAILS:

 

WHEN? - Sunday, July 7

WHAT TIME? - 5k Run - 8:00AM, 1 Mile Run/Walk - 8:00AM, Kids Fun Run 8:45AM (40m and 400m option)

WHERE? - Start/Finish Line Will be behind the Olmsted Township Fire Department.  To find out about the course, check out the course map!

HOW MUCH? -

5K Run/Walk - $40 thru June 30th $45 - July 1st through race day

TACTICAL VEST 5k DIVISION (WOMEN - 14lb vest, MEN - 20lb vest) - $40 thru June 30th $45 - July 1st through race day

Kids Fun Run - $26 thru June 30 $30 - July 1st through race day

1 Mile Run/Walk - IS FREE!  (Donations are appreciated though!  We are donating race proceeds to The Olmsted Police Benevolent Funds and the Brett J Wilson Fire Academy Scholarship!)

THERE IS A 100 PARTICIPANT CAP ON THE FREE 1 MILE RUN/WALK!

FAMILY DISCOUNT PRICING (FOUND UNDER MULTI-PERSON PRICING) - Families of 3-6 that live in the same household will receive $2.50 off each registration!  

FIRST RESPONDERS RECEIVE 25% OFF REGISTRATION - Use promo code "FIRSTRESPONDER" when checking out!   ***IMPORTANT - Please note if you have a child Ages 13 and Under who sign up for the "Adult" races, they can also compete in our new Youth Series Championship or just run the youth races for fun.  The Youth events are included in the adult package if your child is 13 and Under!  A question in your registration will ask you if your child will be participating in the youth events!**** 

 

 

 

AWARDS -   The Top Overall Female/Male will be recognized in the 5k Run, 5k Tactical Vest Division, and Stroller Division.

 

The Top Female/Male in each age group will win an award too:

AGE GROUPS - 

10 AND UNDER, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80+

  RACE PROCEEDS AND ADDITIONAL DONATIONS - 

As mentioned above, race proceeds after expenses will be donated to The Brett J Wilson Fire Academy Scholarship Fund and the Olmsted Township/Falls Police Benevolent Funds.  Proceeds will be split evenly among these organizations.  

You will also be given the option to make an additional donation and will be given the option to choose one of the organizations you would like to help out or split evenly as well.
