Peace For Police

Come out & Support the Police- Join us for a scenic 5k Trail Run through the beautiful Timber Creek Park.  This is a unique course with great scenery and different than your everyday road race.  This is a wonderful family event as there will also be a 1 mile Fun Run/walk.  Pre registration will start at 7:30am and the 5k and 1 mile will both begin promptly at 9am  We hope that this race will spread a good message and promote peace within our community.  There will be a DJ, refreshments, awards ceremony, & after party following the event!  

This year all proceeds will be going to the family of SEPTA Transit Police Lieutenant Nicole Lawson.  After several months of testing, LT Lawson was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease.  As a result, LT Lawson has lost her career in law enforcement and is unable to drive.  Peace For Police would like to help LT Lawson and her family during this extremely challenging time.   Come support those who put their life on the line to support you!
