About the event
2022 the Perry County Road Runners will host our 43rd Perry 5000. In 2021, we dedicated the race to Ron Shields as he was always involved with running either with the road runners and help restart and coach the cross country team at West Perry. In honor of him, we have renamed the Perry 5000 the Ron Shields Perry 5000.
The 5k starts at 9:30am and the mile walk and fun runs starts after the 5k is finished.
The pre-registration charge is $15 for the 5k race, the walk and fun run is free for kids. If you would like a t-shirt it will be an additional $10.
Stick around afterwards for the street fair.
