About the event
A New Kind of Wild Adventure
Hey Silly Rabbits, we miss every-bunny and we’d rather get together at the Philadelphia Zoo for our annual run/walk for Parkinson’s disease. But, due to the ongoing pandemic, we are doing the next best thing. The Philly Rabbit Run is going virtual.
Join thousands of runners and walkers…virtually! Now you can support those with Parkinson’s disease anywhere, at anytime, and with anyone. The 3.1 mile run can be done inside on a treadmill, outside on a track or in your neighborhood. This year's event will have include the innovative Racejoy App which is include in your registration. The Racejoy App gives you live cheers at various points along your journey, results are automatically uploaded to runsignup.com. You can also run/walk your 5K and directly submit results to runsignup.com. Of course, you may walk or run at any pace you are comfortable.
How does a virtual run work? Easy-peasy every-bunny. All you do is register for the Philly Rabbit Run online, and complete the race option during Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April, 1st to the 30th. Then enter your times online (or use the Racejoy App, we'll send you directions). Don’t forget to take pictures of yourself, post them on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/phillyrabbitrun5k and Instagram. Use the hashtag #PhillyRabbitRun and tag us @shakeitoff4pd
