Well organized and easy route. I didn't focus on sights but then again I'm from Warsaw :) The race is quite popular so it got a bit crowded at the start. I recommend estimating your expected run time properly (maybe even slightly optimistically) - the organizers release groups accordingly. Many thanks and congrats to all the volunteers, they made it an excellent experience :)

My first half-marathon but thanks to the easy route and great weather a very pleasant experience. Excellent option for first-timers and reasonably good for record-chasers. Mind you: the route may change next year. This year it had to be synched with parallel marathon event.

As bib collections go the Palace of Culture and Science, was truly awesome to walk around, most efficient and easy to get to. The start was executed well, with competitors in the correct pens. The were some awesome views of Warsaw en-route. The route has a good 1.5K of cobble/stones to run on, which changes your pace. Plenty of refreshments in the goodie bag; during the race and after the race. Whilst my husband was waiting for me, he said there was plenty of seating for spectators. The finishing area after the medals was far too slow, my husband had to hand me clothing over the railing to keep me warm whilst we all waited to get through and out of the area.

Today was my 121st different location half marathon. They really never get any easier...
