Race 2 Cure 5k

The JA Edwards of America Race 2 Cure presented by FFVA Mutual and Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Tribute Walk are held to raise funds for cancer research. This event is organized by the Orlando Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing teams together to find a cure for cancer.  
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Orlando Sports Foundation has decided to move this year’s event to virtual. 

This change comes with some awesome new options: 1 mile tribute walk, 5k, 10k, 15k or Half Marathon! Choose any distance that you are comfortable with and run anywhere and anytime from October 1st – October 31st during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Be a part of our team as we welcome runners, walkers and cancer survivors to participate in a memorable virtual event!

Our Mission:

The Orlando Sports Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for cancer research. Our mission is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer.

The Cure Bowl is the signature event put on by the Orlando Sports Foundation. The college football bowl game is played on the third Saturday each December at Exploria Stadium. It has been used as a platform to raise funds for cancer research. Through four years, over $3.77 million has been raised for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Those funds have been distributed internationally, which includes $1.2 million to local researcher Dr. Annette Khaled at the UCF College of Medicine. Thanks to you all, we have gotten to witness the money we have raised be used locally. Thank you to all of our participants and partners who have made this happen in the past and present.

Timeline of Events

Register anytime between now through October 31st 

Run/Walk your desired distance and submit your time anytime between October 1st - October 31st

We will begin mailing out race swag bags in October
