RCGC Split The Pot Prediction Run

It is not how fast you run - it is how fast you think you will run! The Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati is hosting a Split the Pot Prediction Run on April 3 at Sharon Woods Park.  Run distance will be 2 miles on the paths and trails of Sharon Woods.

The way that the Split the Pot Prediction Run works is as follows: The club will keep half the money from registration fees to cover race expenses. The other half will be split between the top male that runs closest to his predicted finish time, the top female that runs closest to her predicted finish time and some random fellow will get the rest(must be present to win). Limited to 200 participants.

RULES: No Watches, Garmins, IPods, Pedometers, Smart phones, Headphones, help from nonparticipating family or friends or any external item that will aid you in figuring out how well or poor you are running based on your predicted finish time. Only your wits and your senses are allowed.
If we catch or suspect that you have violated the rules, you will be disqualified.
In the event of a tie, fastest runner wins.
AWARDS: Top Male and Top Female that run closest to their predicted finish times will receive cash based on the number of runners that register early (up to 200 runners). If 200 runners register early, top male and top female could receive $500. 
COURSE: 2 mile course begins by Cardinal Crest Shelter and goes around the loop two times. 
RACE DAY REGISTRATION:  $24 - General Public; $18 - RCGC Members. Includes a shirt while supplies last. Opens at 10:15 AM at the Cardinal Crest Shelter in Sharon Woods. 
OTHER: If you do not like your predicted finish time based on weather, course conditions, or horoscope, you can change your predicted finish time on race day.
