The race starts at Colorado Gem and Minerals Club. From there, runners go West, up Monument Road into the Colorado National Monument where the course continues up and over the Monument and before descending down to the West Entrance. Then they turn left on to HWY 340 and run to James M. Robb State Park where. The finish line is located at the Pavilion.
