Run for a Dream 5K and 1M

In what may feel like an inevitable announcement, the Board of Trustees has decided to make Run for a Dream 2020 a virtual event.  Following CDC guidelines and recommendations from the Georgia Department of Health, we are confident this is the best course of action to ensure the health and safety of our participants.  As a virtual event, participants can walk, jog or run the 5K or 1M - any time, anywhere!  Submit your results to RunSignUp between December 2-December 6! 

​The inaugural Run for a Dream 5K & 1M Fun Run celebrates the life of Landon Padgett - an exceptional and dedicated nurse, talented musician, and incredible athlete.  This event was born from Landon's love of running and the children and families he served as a nurse at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. 

All proceeds will go towards Landon Padgett Memorial Scholarships and the Landon Padgett Patient and Family Assistance Program, benefitting the health and well-being of children and young people.

Register through November 8th to guarantee yourself a shirt by December 2nd.  T-shirts for registrations after November 8th will be mailed after the event.

Online registration ends at 11:59PM on December 1, 2020. 

Virtual results can be submitted December 2, 2020-December 6, 2020.

SO, HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1: Get registered and confirm your shipping address.Step 2: Watch your mailbox close to race day for your race swag.Step 3: Walk, jog, dance, or run your distance on a treadmill, on the road, or wherever you choose between the dates of Dec 2 and Dec 6.Step 4: Submit your virtual results between Dec 2-Dec 6 on our RunSignUp race page under RESULTS tab, “Submit Virtual Results”Step 5: Take some photos and share them with us on our RunSignUp page in PHOTOS tab and on Facebook! Don’t forget to tag us @LandonPadgettMemorialFund and use the hashtag #LPMF.
