Running with the Dogs - Kilgore

2nd annual Running with The Dogs 5k benefiting the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation. 

The race will start and end at the Dudley Road entrance of the Creekside Trail.

The Running with the Dogs 5K Fun Run and Creekside Party promises a barking good time including Trunk or Treat,  Costume Contest, local vendors, an amazing DJ and more! Runners (and walkers!) from East Texas and beyond will enjoy a fast course that starts and ends on the Dudley Road entrance of the new Kilgore Creekside Trail. Be ready to see your favorite students and athletes cheering you on along the route. 

This year, we are adding a 1K for kids age 3-3rd grade.  Parents can watch the entire course! Prizes given for winners!

We are also adding a Mountain Bike course option.  If you would like to try this option, bring your bike on race day.

The Running with the Dogs 5K is a great event for groups, new runners, experienced runners looking for a PR, walkers, kids and more!
 
PRIZES will be given for best overall Male and Female runners, kids race winners, as well as to the best overall costume.
 

Where does the money go?

Funds raised through the Running with the Dogs race benefit the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation. The mission of the Education Foundation is to endow and enhance the educational experience of students by providing financial support for district-wide programs and activities.

7am Packet Pickup

8:00 am Kids 1K race (more heats will be added if necessary)

8:30 am 5k Race/Fun Run/ Walk

8:45  Mountain Bike Race Start

10:00 am Awards
