Salento Trail Challenge

The Salento Trail Challenge is a Trail Running race that was established in 2018 to help support the Salento School of Athletics and their athletes. The school has been operating for 25 years, offering programs to children from 4 years old and above, most of whom are from low-income families. Quindiano Felipe Delgado, a representative of Colombia on the international stage in Trail Running and has achieved podium results, is a key figure in the school.As Trail Running is becoming an increasingly popular sport around the world, the School of Athletics of Salento decided to create their own event, taking advantage of their ideal conditions: Salento is a highly touristic municipality in Colombia, and its rural parts have the perfect scenery and difficulty levels necessary for a great Trail Running race. Our mission is to turn Salento Trail Challenge into one of the most important events of its category in Colombia and Latin America.
