IN-PERSON RACE 3/13/22 – The SARR Prickly Pear offers 50K, 15K, and 5K distances run on the natural trails of McAllister Park. 50K starts at 6am and will be three 10.34 mile loops. 15K starts at 8am and is one 9.36 mile Loop. 5K is 3.38 miles and starts at 8:30am.
Course Cut-Off time is 4pm (10 hours). 50K participants MUST start their 3rd and final loop before 12:45pm.
Race starts and finishes at the Optimist Pavilion #3 next to the playground near the center of the park. You can find parking near the pavilion or a short walk away. There are restrooms at the pavilion, and port-a-potties and hand sanitizing stations closer to the start/finish line.
There will be three water stations on the 50K/15K Loop course. 50K “LOVE” Aid Station and bag drop located next to finish line for access during your race. There is one water stop on the 5K course. THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE—You must carry your own hydration device or a collapsible cup to fill at aid stations. The trails at McAllister Park flat and fast, and is on easy to moderate terrain. Please give a hoot and don’t pollute the trails, please dispose of your trash at Aid Stations or carry with you.
VIRTUAL RACE: 3/13/22 – 3/26/22 – Can’t join us in-person, then sign up for our virtual option and complete your 50K/15K/5K anywhere you choose between March 13-26, 2022.

The race is chip-timed.
Awards to Top 3 Overall and Masters M/F in all three distances. Sorry there are no age group awards.
Finishers medal for everyone who crosses the finish line! 50K Runners who cross the finish line receive a finishers hat and car sticker. Race results and photos will be posted at www.saroadrunners.com
No dogs or strollers please; this is a trail run.
