Save the Day 5K - Harrisburg

Come for the race, stay for the party! This fun, family-friendly event includes a 5K race along the scenic Harrisburg riverfront, a 1 mile fun run and a block party to follow. We encourage all participants to dress up as their favorite super hero, with a prize for the best costume to be awarded after the race! The block party includes a DJ, photo area with super hero props, free beer for adults, and a separate Kids' Zone with crafts and activities for the kiddos. This inclusive event benefits the Harrisburg Area YMCA's Annual Support Campaign, which provides funding for inclusive recreational and summer camp programs, as well as the National Inclusion Project's Let's ALL Play program, so ALL children can learn and play together.
