See You At The Finish Line - Run To Defeat ALS

“ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS yet. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with the disease and someone passes away from it.” - ALS Assoc.

Welcome to our first “See You At The Finish Line.” We hope to make this an annual event! We invite everyone (runners & walkers!!) to come out to support and raise awareness for the disease. This race and all fundraising efforts will be dedicated to Becky DiGangi, a member of the Anniston Running Club, who was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2021.
