Shining Lights 5K and 1 mile Fun Run

Join us for the 5th Annual Shining Lights 5K run/walk and 1-mile kids fun run. We're planning to be in-person in 2022, starting at the iconic Blue Bonnet Palace in Selma, TX. if things change, we may move to a virtual option .

This event is Positively Impacting Communities, Inc. (PIC) annual fundraiser to provide services to families in need and meaningful volunteer opportunities for teens. We are a 100% volunteer-staffed organization and all proceeds will fund services in the Schertz/Selma/Universal City community and surrounding areas. PIC is a charitable, non-profit organization based in Schertz. 

Race participants receive:

Souvenir Race tee (guaranteed to everyone that registers before April 22, 2022. After that limited supply will be available - first to register, first served)Goody bag - reusable grocery bag with goodies including energy chews

Awards will be given for:

Best Overall Male/Female FinisherTop Male/Female Finisher in each age group
