Course Description
The Southern Fried 50/50 course will start and finish at Psalmond Road - start of the Fall Line trace. The course is an out and back(isn) that runs along the Columbus and Phenix City RiverWalk on the Chattahoochee River, as well as through parts of Uptown Columbus. This scenic route will allow you to experience: The longest urban whitewater course in the world, as well as views of Columbus State University, The National Infantry Museum, and Golden Park.

SF50/50 run caps at 100 runners.
Aid stations are stocked with full southern fare, including fried chicken, Georgia grown watermelons, and sweet tea. Seriously! How could you ever beat that?! Also, aid stations are about 5 miles apart. Generous cutoff times are 10 hours for the 50k and 14 hours for the 50 mile run.
Packet Pickup is 6am at Midland Elementary parking lot. After you are finished with your very fun 50k/50 mile run, meet us at Mellow Mushroom on Veterans Parkway to celebrate your finish.
