Squirrel Hill Loopy Loppet, and Beat the Bunny

The Loopy Loppet race is our way of capping off the ski season with some fun! Costumes are encouraged for all racers in any of the events. The Loopy Loppet features a selection of trails that historically hold snow very well late in the season: Base Loop, Tornado Alley, Survivor, and Nose Dive Alley. 

Choose between skate or classic techniques and pick how many loops you’d like to complete! This year’s format features a one-loop 6km race or a two-loop 12km race. Awards to overall winners and top three in each age group. 

Stick around after the Loopy Loppet races to cheer on the Beat the Bunny racers. This race was designed for the youngest among us, so it's a joy to watch. Racers complete one lap of Base Loop with the goal of beating the three bunnies to the finish line. Thank you to the Minocqua Winter Park Ski Shop for sponsoring this fun kids race.
