About the event
On Saturday, November 10, 2018, St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church in Chelsea, Alabama, is going to be hosting the 2nd annual “Turkey Trot for Hunger” 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run to help raise funds for our “Beans and Rice Pantry,” an outreach ministry of St. Catherine’s that we offer to the community on the third Saturday of each month. This is a great, family-friendly way to spend a Saturday morning, and all monetary donations received through registration will go to support the Beans and Rice Pantry at St. Catherine’s.
The race will begin at the Chelsea Recreational Park (2966 County Rd 39, Chelsea, AL 35043) at 8:30 am on Saturday, November 10. Pre-race packet pickup will be held at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, November 9. All racers will receive a swag bag, race t-shirt, and racing bib.
The St. Catherine’s Turkey Trot for Hunger is a chip-timed race with a certified 5K course.
