Staff 5K Walk/Run - Shawnee Mission West High School

This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members. 

*This event is closed to the general public. 

All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited.  Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.  Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course.  Strollers are welcome.

Start and finish line is at Shawnee Mission West with 5K route winding around neighborhoods near West.

Race starts at 9:00am, but come early to join in the pre-race activities which will begin at 8:30am.  

There will be healthy lifestyle vendor booths as well as other fun events (face painting, balloon animals, etc.) for the whole family.  

All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted.

This event if free, but we encourage donations to the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation.  A link to their giving page can be found at the top of this page.  Thank you!
