About the event

Aloha Friends of Hale Kau Kau,

With the current disaster facing Maui County and Lahaina Town, our efforts to feed those who are hungry are greater than ever.  Hale Kau Kau continues to deliver 80 plus meals to the homebound elderly each day and serves a hot meal each day  to anyone who comes by the kitchen at dinner time.  Recently Hale Kau Kau was asked to make 300 meals for the shelters in Kahului which are housing those displaced by the fires.  In order to continue to feed those who are hungry, we must rely on the generosity of our many supporters.  Through our fundraisers,  friends of Hale Kau Kau continue to donate and support our mission to feed the hungry with compassion and aloha. This year we are planning to have our 7th Annual  Stomp Out Hunger 5k & 1M Walk fundraiser The event will be on Saturday October 28th.  We are also looking for sponsors  to support our efforts to put on a quality event as well as raise the needed funds for our meal  program.
