Stomp Out Soldier Suicide 2.2 Miler

Join us as we hit the pavement to Stomp Out Soldier Suicide! Most of us have heard the statistic that 22 soldiers commit suicide a day. Studies show that Veterans are at 50% higher risk of suicide than their peers who have not served. We are on a mission to reduce that number to zero and we need your help!

Helping Heroes NEPA presents our Stomp Out Soldier Suicide Run/Walk that will be held at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 9:00 am. The course will be flat and fast and the cause worthy. Awards for the 5K run and 2.2 Mile run will be presented to the overall male and female, top male and female masters as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. There will also be awards for the top 3 males and females in the timed walk.

Race Day Registration: 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM

Race Start: 9:00 AM

Cost: $10 for children 14 and under. $20 for anyone 15 years of age or older who pre-registers. Price increases to $15 on race day for children 14 and under and $25 for runners over 15 years old.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup:  There will be a packet pickup for all pre-registered runners at Scranton Running Company on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12 to 6 PM.
