STRC St. Patrick's Day 5K/10K Run/Walk

WHEN: Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 9:00 AM. 

WHERE: Starts at Chapel Park, 83 Personius Road, Pine City, NY 14871 and ends at Southport Shopping Center at 1411 Broadway St. Southport, NY

We are going green!  ONLINE REGISTRATION is our only option to help support Planet Earth.

Pre-Registration, to be guaranteed a tech shirt Closes February 20, 2023 at 11:59 PM.  You will not be guaranteed a shirt if you register after February 20th.

EARLY BIB PICKUP and ON-THE-SPOT REGISTRATION: Friday, March 17th 5:00 – 6:30PM at Chapel Park.  Registration does not guarantee a shirt.

ON-THE-SPOT REGISTRATION and BIB PICKUP: Saturday, March 18th 7:30 - 8:30 AM at Chapel Park.  You are not guaranteed swag for same day registration.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS: All virtual participants who register by February 20, 2023 will receive the same Swag.  Swag will either be mailed or delivered to your home.  Your results need to be posted between March 18th and March 20th.  

SWAG: Custom male and female short sleeve tech shirts available in adult sizes.  All pre-registered participants who registered by February 20th will receive a shirt.  Participants registering after that  will not be guaranteed a shirt or the size requested.  

POST RACE FOOD : Hosted by Stone Age Barbeque's Food Truck, at the finish line. All runners are required to provide their tear off from the bib to obtain a sandwich and side. Food will be available for purchase for non participants.  Vegan options will be available.  Gatorade is our exclusive sports beverage of the event.

AWARDS: There will be an on-site Awards Ceremony near the finish line.  Awards are given for the following:  Overall Winners for Male and Female in each race as well as top male and female in each age group.

AGE CATEGORIES: Under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

RRCA:  We are thrilled to announce both the 5K and 10K races have been designated as RRCA New York State Championship races!  RRCA will provide age group awards for male and female 40+, 50+ and 60+ age groups.

Dogs are allowed to run with you as long as they are on a leash.

PARKING: Please note that this race begins at Chapel Park, Pine City, NY and ends at the Southport Shopping Center at 1411 Broadway St. Southport, NY.  The distance between the start/finish is about 0.50 miles (no shuttle services available), and there is parking available in the following locations (final details will be provided the week of the race):

*Broadway Elementary School

DO NOT PARK in any parking lots at the Southport Shopping Center or surrounding businesses.  All local businesses are open for business, and they need the parking for their customers.  Please be respectful to the local businesses.
