Strong Communities 8K

Run for a Reason! Join us for the Strong Communities 5K. The course will wrap through downtown, the greenway, and end at the YMCA Park. 

Agian this year, with a $6 donation, participants can sponsor a backpack to help the Y reduce childhood hunger. All $ raised through this campaign will support the Y's Backpack Program which provides 40 backpacks a weekend to food deprived Pre-K students across Stanly County.  In addition to donations collected, 100% of registration fees go to the Stanly County Family YMCA's Strong Communities Fund to support the six signature programs of the Y.
