Sturgeon Shuffle

The Sturgeon Shuffle, presented by First State Bank, is a chip-timed 5K walk/run through New London’s Hatten Park or a 10K competitive road run for all athletes along that also winds through scenic Hatten Park before exiting onto County X which parallels the beautiful Wolf River. The return portion of the 10K course takes runners along the Sturgeon Trail (a paved trail) during the time of the year that historically sees the unique “running” of the sturgeon.
Proceeds raised from the Shuffle will benefit backpack programs in and around the communities served by First State Bank including:  Project Backpack New London, Project Backpack Waupaca (serving Waupaca, Manawa, Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, and Amherst school districts), and Rapids Family Backpacks (Wisconsin Rapids School District including Rudolph). These organizations are working hard to stamp out hunger in our schools.

10K: 9:30 am
5K: 9:35 am
Online Registration available through April 25th
In Person Registration and Packet Pick-up
Friday, April 26th, 4:30 – 6:00 pm
Saturday, April 27th, 8:00 am – 9:15 am

Event Shirts
Each participant receives an event t-shirt if registered by Monday, April 15th. Or, choose our new hooded sweatshirt option (adult sizes ONLY) with a registration fee of $40.* Shirts not guaranteed if registered after April 15th.
Entry Fee
Online Registration (through 4/25):
5K, 10K with T-shirt - $25*
5K, 10K with Hooded Sweatshirt - $40*
5K, 10K Age 14 and Under with T-shirt - $15*
In-person Registration (4/27 & 4/28):
5K, 10K - $30*
5K, 10K Age 14 and Under - $20*
*A small fee will be added for credit card processing at time of registration.

T-Shirts
Each participant receives an event t-shirt if registered by Monday, April 15th. Shirt not guaranteed if registered after April 15th.

Awards
Awards will be presented immediately at the conclusion of both events to the top finishers in each age and gender division.
